Special thanks to the many individuals and non-profit organizations throughout northern California that have contributed photographs and other archival material to help make this large website project possible. Among those being acknowledged below are former baseball players, team managers, surviving family members of players who provided scrapbook memorabilia (sometimes searching the garage and attic to find the right box), curators (from local history museums and libraries who delivered antique photos of teams going back to the late 1800s), sports collectors, history buffs and authors of books on local town history, sports editors who brought this project to the attention of their readers. Without that exposure, we would not have received some valuable information from individuals living outside the bay area.
