Guadalupe Native Sons

Guadalupe Native Sons of the Golden West (N.S.G.W.) Parlor No. 231 was located at 4551 Mission Street in San Francisco and sponsored two teams during early 1950s. The older AA team started playing in 1950 while the newer Guadalupe Blues played for three years (1952-1954) with many of the players coming from the San Francisco Peninsula. In 1955, the latter team became the San Mateo Blues, bringing back the name of famous town team featured separately on website (click here). With that conversion, the former Guadalupe Blues which was a traveling team during its three years, began playing home games at Fitzgerald Field in San Mateo.
