San Mateo AmVets
San Mateo AmVets team was organized after World War II by Jim Kehoe, Postmaster of San Mateo, and played most of its home games at the Veterans base hospital diamond located off Willow Road in Menlo Park. U.S. government maps showed location as being in Palo Alto and with that the Sunday baseball bookings indicated same.
