Description: Laytonville Loggers won against the Willits Town team at the Oddfellows' Barbecue at Harwood Park, score 5 to 2.

"Laytonville rapped out 12 hits and made three errors, while Willits could get only seven hits, and made one error.  Bob Whittaker was the losing pitcher. Andy Johnson, Logger pitcher, struck out ten batters in getting the win. George Pinches and Mike Fitch had three singles each, and Fred Vincent got a double and a single, to lead the Logger swatsmen."

June 6, 1965:

'We traveled to Fort Bragg. The weather was foggy with light mist, grass was wet - got baseballs wet. Had to wait 45 minutes to get into ballpark - froze our butts off. Bud Harwood was late. Andy Johnston pitched a 3-hitter, struck out 13 batters. We made 3 errors.  Matson struck out 12 and no hits. Just throws ¾ arm fastball hit corners well. (Laytonville players swinging at bad pitches).'
