Lincoln Potters were sponsored by Gladding, McBean, makers of pottery, clay roof tile and other building materials since 1890s, still operating its plant in city. Lincoln Potters won Placer-Nevada League Championships in 1950, 1951, 1952, 1954, 1956 and 1957 (6 of the 8 years).

Description: 1926 Lincoln Cubs won the Placer-Nevada League championship with 15-year-old pitcher Cedo Besana.
