'We traveled to Fort Bragg. The weather was foggy with light mist, grass was wet - got baseballs wet. Had to wait 45 minutes to get into ballpark - froze our butts off. Bud Harwood was late. Andy Johnston pitched a 3-hitter, struck out 13 batters. We made 3 errors. Matson struck out 12 and no hits. Just throws ¾ arm fastball hit corners well. (Laytonville players swinging at bad pitches).'
