St. Helena
St. Helena has a long baseball history as shown in this album. The Blue Sox team started playing in 1942 and continued through 1967. Blue Sox were one of few, if not the only team in northern California to traditionally play its games on Sunday evening starting at 8:00 and hosted travelling teams. It was a long drive home to San Francisco on a Sunday night, especially if your team came out on the short end.
