Verdi Club
Verdi Club was formed as an Italian social club in 1916 on 24th St. in San Francisco's Mission district. In 1934 club relocated to a building at 2424 Mariposa Street where still operates today, but Italian heritage is no longer required for membership. Verdi Club sponsored many teams over the years, including other sports.
