Memories of the Game

Oaks Park in Emeryville

Oaks Park in Emeryville, home of Oakland Oaks Pacific Coast League team, was used by many semi-pro teams during off-season (winter league) and for Oakland Tribune tournaments (see souvenir program section). It opened in 1913 and held 7,000 people. The Oaks played there until 1955, after which it was demolished.
